Director Gautham Menon who badly hit by the critics on his recent release 'Nadunisi Naaygal' is trying to regain his status he got from the super hit movie 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa', which has Gross revenue of Indian Rupees 75 crores.
In a recent interview he announced that his next film will be a musical romantic drama with popular faces to act in the lead roles.
We heard that he is working on the scripts and there will be a official announcement on the movie. Also it is rumored that it will be a sequel of 'Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa' and he is going to sign Simbu & Trisha in the lead.
On the other hand he is planning to kick-start the shooting of ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’ Hindi version by second week of April. The film has some of the young and happening star-casts like Prateik Babbar of ‘Dhobi Ghat’ fame and ‘Madharasapattinam’ Amy Jackson while ‘3 Idiots’ Omi Vaidya will play the role of Prateik’s pal that was played by Ganesh in Tamil version while actor Krishna in Telugu.
