Two of the recent releases which were meant to lift the spirits of Tollywood box office were ‘Dhada’ and ‘Kandireega’.

Now, the results were contrasting. While ‘Dhada’ sank without a trace, ‘Kandireega’ has become a hot cake for the audience. So, here is a look at what happened for both.

Dhada – The major blunder for this is the director and the storyline. Due to the director’s inexperience and ignorance, despite having great locations, efficient cast and crew, high budget, the film failed to work. The only thing that worked is the visual appeal and two songs.

Kandireega- despite routine storyline and typical entertainers, the film worked due to the deft handling of the script. Ram added value with his energetic performance while the comedy was like the icing on the cake. The technical and production aspects also were significant in this one.
