Ram Charan Tej has taken Ayyappa Deeksha and he was seen wearing mala yesterday at Satya Sai Nigamagamam in Srinagar Colony, Hyderabad. This is the first time the young actor has taken up the deeksha. Chiranjeevi has earlier taken up the deeksha many times and Lord Ayyappa is said to be one of the favorite deities of Chiranjeevi.

Following his father, Charan has also initiated taking up the Deeksha and the actor will visit the famous pilgrimage of Lord Ayyappa in Kerala at the end of the period. Ram Charan is entering wed-lock soon with his lady love Upasana, and it looks like he wants to pay obeisance to God.
